SENIOR AND
GRADUATION INFORMATION
Senior Check Out - pick up your check out card
before school (tables in Commons or Senior Hall)
ü Teachers will
sign cards as you attend classes throughout the day (Second semester check out)
ü Clear out and
clean your locker before having a staff member sign your card
ü If you owe fees
or fines it will be placed on the card; pay library fees in the Library and
other fines in the Activities Office
ü At 1:30 p.m.,
Seniors will go to Commons for check out
§Counselor's will
check cards and sign them
§Dr. Compton will
verify senior names and proper pronunciation
§Cards will be
checked for fees and fines and collected
Diplomas will be held until all fees and fines have been paid and
check out cards are turned in
§Cap, gowns and
tassels will be given out
Ø Check for
correct color of cap and gown – ladies are gold; men are black
Ø Gowns be hung up
and placed in a steamy bathroom to minimize wrinkles. The gowns may be ironed
on a COOL setting.

If you are testing or must remain in your Block 4 class,
see Mrs. Frederick in the office after school to complete the check out process
described above
CCHS Awards Assembly, Lou DelPizzo Center, 9:20 a.m.
ü Students will be
notified if they are receiving an award
ü
Families are welcome to attend
Baccalaureate, Lou DelPizzo Center, 7:00 p.m.
ü Families are
welcome to attend
Senior Honors Night, Lou DelPizzo Center, 6:30 p.m.
ü Scholarships
will be awarded
ü Senior track and
baseball athletes (possibly) receive diplomas
ü Students will be
notified if they are receiving a scholarship
ü Families are
welcome to attend
Graduation Practice – any Senior missing practice, without prior approval,
will not go through the ceremony on Saturday! Graduation practice will
continue until approximately Noon
ü Senior breakfast
provided free in Commons 7:30 a.m.
ü
Gold and Silver Honor Cords will be handed out after practice,
cost is $10, Tiger Dome
Fun Fest, a community sponsored
event for the Senior Class
only, starts at 3:00 p.m.
ü Information will be given to Seniors
during practice
ü Students must check in with
Mr. Geesaman and receive further instructions
ü
All Seniors must report to the Tiger Dome by 8:45
a.m.
ü Seating on a
first-come basis; please be seated by 9:45 a.m.
o Chilled water
available for purchase in the concession stand
o Professional
photographer will take pictures of students receiving diplomas, purchase information
in program
o
Do not enter the field during graduation, it will be used as part
of the ceremony
ü After graduation, Seniors pick up their diploma from their counselor in Commons (if they forget diplomas may be picked up on Monday)
