Project #1
Student groups were given two minutes of music by
the instructor. Their
assignment was to film a video that would provide the visual for this
music. The assigned music
was music students were unfamiliar with and it was not identified by
title.
Students’ projects answered the challenge in a
number of ways. One group
did a computer animation using a program called G-Max. Others took a narrative approach, telling a story using only
the visual and the music. While
yet others attempted to develop a mood or concept.
Students rated the project a success.
