Peer Counselors are available in the Guidance Office each block throughout the school day to be of assistance to students.  Peer Counselors are carefully chosen each spring from the upcoming senior class based on qualities of responsibility, sincerity, compassion and desire to be of help to others.  They assist students with personal, social and academic needs.  Parents, if you would like your student to be contacted by a Peer Counselor, contact our counseling office, 276-5882.   All peers are seniors at CCHS.

I love to sing and am very involved in Tiger Ladies. I am in NHS and do various other activities outside of school. Hi, I’m Cheryl and I get to be one of the peer counselors this year! I just want to let everyone know that I’m here for you, no matter what you need help with.  I’m more than willing to help you with anything from homework to conflicts with your family or friends.  So far in high school, I’ve been involved with a group called EPYCS (formerly SSAB) and I’m in ADDA and NHS.  My favorite part of high school is meeting new people and having fun at sporting events and other activities.  Come talk to me if you need someone.

Hey guys, my name is Katie. I hope you all have a wonderful 2006-2007 school year, especially you freshmen. I have been a lifeguard for the past three summers here at the pool. I love the outdoors: swimming, rafting, boating, and having fun. I am involved in NHS, Tiger Ladies, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Teen Advisors, and a lot of church stuff. Hey everyone! My name is Kendra and I am so excited to be one of your Peer Counselors this year! I am always up for meeting new people and being there for them when they need my help. I feel it’s important for everyone to know that there is always someone there to listen. Besides Peer Counseling I’ve also been involved in other activities before at CCHS. These include playing volleyball, being a D.A.R.E. role model, and participating in NHS. I also love spending time with friends and family. Hi, my name is Erin.   I’m really excited to be a peer counselor this year. I’m a really good listener and I love to help people when they need it. I’m also really involved in volleyball, Encore, NHS, and a group called teen advisors. The outdoors is the place I like to spend most of my time. I love to go camping, 4-wheeling, and  snowboarding.  So if anybody ever needs anything I’m here to help.

Adults are great, but let’s face it; they just don’t understand us the way we understand each other.
