Peer Counselors are available in the Guidance
Office each block throughout the school day to be of assistance to students.
Peer Counselors are carefully chosen each spring from the upcoming senior
class based on qualities of responsibility, sincerity, compassion and desire to
be of help to others. They assist
students with personal, social and academic needs.
Parents, if you would like your student to be contacted by a Peer
Counselor, contact our counseling office, 276-5882. All peers are
seniors at CCHS.

Hey my name is Mary, and I
am a peer counselor this year. I think peer counseling is a great
program because it’s very important to know that there is always
someone available to talk to, who is your own age. I love to sing and am
very involved in Tiger Ladies. I am in NHS and do various other
activities outside of school. I enjoy talking to people and getting to
know them, so feel free to stop by if you want to talk or need any help.

Hey
my name is Sean , and I’m a peer counselor this year. I enjoy many
things and am usually down for about anything. Throughout school though
I play basketball and baseball and always in for supporting the other
sports. Any way I’m pretty easy to talk to and am always glad to have
someone to talk with, so if you ever need anything or any help feel free
to drop by.

Hi,
I’m Cheryl and I get to be one of the peer counselors this year! I
just want to let everyone know that I’m here for you, no matter what
you need help with. I’m more than willing to help you with
anything from homework to conflicts with your family or friends.
So far in high school, I’ve been involved with a group called EPYCS
(formerly SSAB) and I’m in ADDA and NHS. My favorite part of
high school is meeting new people and having fun at sporting events and
other activities. Come talk to me if you need someone. |

Hey
guys, my name is Katie. I hope you all have a wonderful 2006-2007 school
year, especially you freshmen. I have been a lifeguard for the past
three summers here at the pool. I love the outdoors: swimming, rafting,
boating, and having fun. I am involved in NHS, Tiger Ladies, FCA
(Fellowship of Christian Athletes), Teen Advisors, and a lot of church
stuff. I love to talk but more than that I love to listen. I am here for
anyone who needs an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on.

Hey
everyone! My name is Kendra and I am so excited to be one of your Peer
Counselors this year! I am always up for meeting new people and being
there for them when they need my help. I feel it’s important for
everyone to know that there is always someone there to listen. Besides
Peer Counseling I’ve also been involved in other activities before at
CCHS. These include playing volleyball, being a D.A.R.E. role model, and
participating in NHS. I also love spending time with friends and family.
I’m never too busy to listen so feel free to come in and talk anytime!

Center. I also love meeting new people. I am looking forward to

Hey guys, I’m Jennifer. I wanted to be a peer counselor because
I understand what it’s like to feel the need to talk to someone your
own age. Adults are great, but let’s face it; they just don’t
understand us the way we understand each other. The peer counseling
office is great because it’s a place where you can come and talk
anytime you need a friend and know that what you say is kept
confidential. I’m here to listen and help you find a way to solve your
problems. So drop by the P.C. office anytime. Whether it is a bad grade
on a paper or a fight with your best friend, I’m here for you!

school a better place for students to be, and make the school a place
where students want to be. |
