ADDA Classes

As a student participating in the river watch, you must agree and abide by the following responsibilities:

Take the time to learn the sampling techniques plus the value and funtion of a river ecosystem. ( Many resourfes are available from the CDOW, including guest lectures, books, labs, activities, films, and fild trips.) 
Collect water quality samples as per the sampling plan agreed upon at training.  This includes sample locations, parameters, frequency, staring date and shipping dates.
Record data in hard data sheets and softer computer formats maintaining both file formats.  Data sheets and computer equipment are supplied by the CDOW. Computer equipment is dedicated to the river watch project. However, remaining computer time and space will be left to the discretion of the teacher who signs the letter of agreement.
Provide access to the internet or a telephone line which will enable you to connect via modem with the River Watch Network bulletin board for data exchange and electronic messages.  Currently, the bulletin board is a toll free call in Colorado.
Share experiences and knowledge with others about the river ecosystem
