Homecoming Dance and Assembly

This dance is by far the biggest dance of the year. According to Ed Bray, one of the Student Council sponsors, there are nearly 40 hours of preparation by each council member for this dance. Year after year students try to out due themselves by creating more interesting and intricate themes for the homecoming dance. This strive for perfection every year proves successful time and time again with constant commendations on how smoothly the dance and assembly went.

Each student council sponsored dance is initiated with a meeting where different committees are formed. For more information on the specific committees and their responsibilities click Here (Link to Bree Baker's page.)
The Homecoming Dance is huge with nearly 75%  school wide participation. Additionally, we have yet to see someone unhappy with the entire production. The biggest part of preparation and the most important is defiantly public relations. Throughout the year council members are required to make posters and pass the word about events and dances. Homecoming is no exception.

Decorations for homecoming were over the top for 2003.

Queens committee had a hard time picking these three lovely ladies. Teachers and coaches choose the handsome men.
These girls certainly had a great time
